- 6:15: Almost jumped out of my skin when I rolled over in bed, opened my eyes, and found Walker's staring at me at the edge of bed. Luckily "Mommy Radar" kicked in about a quarter of a second after opening my eyes and I just said "Good morning, bug." I pulled him into the bed and cuddled with him until the alarm clock went off at 6:30.
- Got out of bed...brrr, it's cold this morning..., turned on cartoons for Walker, and got him a cup of milk. Checked the thermostat on the way past it and it's 65 in the house. No wonder it feels cold. We're determined to wait as long as possibly before turning the heat on. Gave Walker his milk and put a blanket over him on the couch.
- Woke Scott up when his alarm clock went off at 6:48. Walker yelled for me to help him get some toys and that woke up Caden.
- Got Caden out of the crib, made sure Scott was getting out of the bed, and changed Caden's diaper. He leaked through, so had to change his clothes...which is fine as we're all going to have to get dressed a an hour or so anyway.
- Started to check email, was interrupted by Walker who needed help opening a bin of toys.
- Had to "separate" the boys...well, really just had to separate Caden from Walker, because he was getting into his toys. Told Walker "Little brothers ALWAYS want what their big brothers have."
- Put Caden in his high chair and gave him a bottle.
- Folded two baskets of laundry while Caden munched on Cheerios and we both watched the Today show.
- Put the clothes away in between multiple interruptions from Walker, now "needed" one thing or another.
- Pulled clothes for Walker to put on, but helped him put away all the Star Wars action figures he dumped on the living room floor first.
- Had a bowl of cereal, while watching the Today show with Caden.
- Checked FB and email quickly.
- Peeled an orange for Walker for him to have for breakfast and then got him a box of crayons because he wanted to color at the kitchen table while he was eating.
- Tried to start getting dressed, but was interrupted by a crash from the kitchen. Caden had pulled all the plastic cups and bowls out of the cart in the kitchen again. Got him "out of trouble" and finished getting dressed.
- Exchanged an email with an old classmate about tomorrow night's reunion.
- Did my hair and make-up while Caden pulled out all the bath toys in the bathroom and screamed at the top of his lungs....not because he was upset, but because he liked how it sounded echoing off the tiled walls...groan.
- Get the boys packed up and head to Rockland to drop them off with Scott at the kung fu school.
